General release information

Release 1.8.2 was released on the 21st of December 2023 and contains numerous enhancements and bug fixes. Below you can find more information related to the enhancements and bug fixes. We will update your Production account automatically and the Sandbox account can be updated from your (the customer's) end at any given time.

Enhancements

FFA-1156 Full Support of ZoneApprovals portlet for Approval Managers inside the Employee center

In previous versions, the ZoneApprovals portlet was partially supported for users using the Employee Center. If the Approval Manager checkbox under the Employee record was enabled, users with limited access (Employee center license) were unable to reach the extended ZoneApprovals portlet holding additional lists of transactions of their subordinates.

This version release holds enhancement of the ZoneApprovals portlet, allowing Employee Center users to access a list of their team’s transactions subject to approval.

Bug Fixes

FFA-1200 Unable to update an existing Matrix with custom segments

The Approval matrix was experiencing a malfunction in the version releases of 1.8.0, blocking users from adding a custom segment to their existing matrixes, and newly created as well. This version release holds a fix for this behavior, restoring the behavior of successfully adding a custom segment to a matrix, as an approval parameter.

FFA-1217 SOAP web services not initiating a configured action

Enabling the "EXCLUDE SYSTEM GENERATED TRANSACTIONS" checkbox inside the ZoneApprovals Configuration triggers a system behavior of auto approval or auto submission (of transactions) if a specific context is enabled. This functionality performed as intended, but was failing for SOAP Web Services integrations.

This version release improves this behavior and correctly sets transaction status, respecting the ZoneApprovals configuration.
